Very nice. Applause :)
Part from 0.44 and onwards gives a very celtic, medieval feelings and literally I started tapping my foot. Good job. Looking forward to more.

LunyAlex responds:

Much appreciated; very motivating, heh!

First of all don't take my words as contestant but a listener and admirer of this genre.

This is a beautiful piece of work. Very moving and evolving bit by bit. Really like the strings work and certainly evoke the feelings present in the art. Things that I would have added in this piece to refine it more are firstly percussions that would make it interconnected between the transitions. I would also like to continue with the basses after 0:32 specially after 1:31 for the warmth. Lastly, I think the ending needs to return to the original chord for a sense of completion.

Again, it's a fine piece, really it is! These are just some observations. Don't take them seriously.

LunyAlex responds:

I most definitely appreciate the feedback and I thank you for it. And thank you for the kind words, they really mean a lot.

I'll definitely consider the above and, if I have the time, attempt any improvements I can.

Thanks again and have a good one!

Much better than the previous one. This is the way everybody learns and this is the process we all have to go through. It still has panning and overall mixing issues but you will overcome it by time. Keep listening to QUALITY music and by time you will gain the experience. With only two months of experience, this effort certainly deserves "bravo".

Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Thonz responds:

Thanks a lot! It's largely thanks to people like yourself, who are willing to give valuable advice, that I've been able to learn as much as I have during these two months.

Definitely worth scouting....
Welcome to NG, enjoy your stay here.
Like your piece a lot. Like the variations and melody.
As this is your first of the submissions, let RealFaction himself comments on it.
Looking forward to hear more from you.

Goran1990 responds:

Thank you!

I am new to this website so I am taking time to get myself acquainted with rules.

I would love to hear more of user opinions, that's for sure :)

I like this piece of work. I think it matches the feel of the art well. The apocalyptic feel is certainly there.
I really like the opening. I think you have done good job in it.
Later it develops and progresses very well with good melody until 1.05 but after that stereo imaging is strongly missing. Try to pan hard the instruments to give a wider image. They seem to be more in the middle. All instruments should speak for themselves but if they are not panned or panned closely then the melody becomes muddier. Also, guitar lines would have been benefited from doubling aka haas (delay) effect chasing each other for a nostalgic feel (very nice lines btw). Lastly, push some instruments back, some in the middle and some on the front with reverb to give listener a sense of space. Strings work is quite good; some reverb to push them back would be more useful.
These are just my thoughts as you have asked for improvements. I could be wrong, so don't take them seriously :)
Overall, very good song! Very best of luck...

Thonz responds:

Wow, thanks for the detailed review. This is exactly the kind of feedback I'm looking for. I will check out the stuff you mentioned and see if I can improve them.

Well done, very very well done.
Brilliant inspirational work. Definitely a potential piece of work that can secure a place in the contest. So far my one of the favourites, or to be very frank, number 1 on favourite ranking.
Fits the art very well; I had the feel of me being in the forest :) This transformation is what is required for correct mood matching of the picture and for assumed imagination. Secondly, am already fan of your guitaring. Not overwhelmed, not less, well adjusted in the piece. My enjoy list goes on....but final remarks are fantastic in every sense.
Best of luck friend. I seriously wish success for this piece.

Mattashi responds:

Thank you Emid! :)

Phew.....yeah I forgot to take the breath.
What can I say, your thoughts are widely flowing in the piece.
Everything is very well connected and like spreading pearls on the surface of ocean.
Very well done dude. Keep it up.

Phonometrologist responds:

Ha thanks! I appreciate the imagery here in your comment.
I see similar attributes within each of your first three lines:
To grasp a breath of air amidst an ocean flowing of consciousness.

This is a very chaotic piece (in good sense) portraying the art perfectly. I hope it stands out and wins the contest. Best of luck :)

JesseNewkirk responds:

Thank you very much! You too. You write very well! :)

Joseph...is it real cello? If not it sounds so real because the dynamics are so well controlled. May be Blakus cello? I hope you are following up with this piece. Great tone and instantly create an atmosphere.

JosephAS1 responds:

Thanks for your review, LASS2 Solo Cello Patch was used :)

I happened to visit the youtube link you have posted and from there routed back here. This is a beautiful, melodious piece of work. Amazing lines. Like it very much. Keep up the good work!

CainRedfield responds:

Yay someone from Youtube! :D So glad you like the song!

I am in no way composer, musician, artist and whatever you may call it. I am a doctor by profession who just loves music of different genres like epic, rock, classic and any other that carries melody. Enjoy my imperfections :)
