I am not into this genre of music but I really like this piece specially the build ups. Thanks for sharing!

You're welcome and Thank you so much! : )))

This is really a good piece of work which is done very well from all aspects. Before reading the comments I was imagining it as a suspense trailor type and I was right. Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed it a lot.

I will give you 5 stars for good job and motivation. Apart from what samulis has pointed out, I would recommend not to be repetitive in orchestral genre. Following you for more good stuff.

Damn lovin it man. Slow, moving and a cheerful piece. Definitely my favorite. Very cool start with harp and then the entry of other elements. Love the spiccatos, very original. You never stop to amaze me with your work!

samulis responds:

I've been in a bit of a harpy mood lately. XD

I figured it'd be nice contrast to the style of the second half... the spiccatos are mostly originals from the piece by HFX, I only made some minor tweaking when I changed chords from her original.

Oops! How could I miss this.
Really like the slow, relaxing start. Am always fond of your strings work as I feel they are really close to original. And as Elitistinen said, love the use of equation in a song :)

samulis responds:

Hey, thanks man! I'm glad you like my strings work. I always try to pay careful attention to my parts to make sure they are lyrical and sound good as individual parts- I don't like writing pieces where parts are just there or thrown about between different instruments for no reason. Each instrument has its characteristics and I like bringing them out, for example, high harmonics on violin. Love them so much.

Very cinematic orchestral piece. I really like the dark drone sound and sound effects you have used. One thing I have noticed that nowadays you are much into harp. Indeed good work. I would certainly like to listen more cinematic (movie-ish) orchestral stuff specially from you.

samulis responds:

I'm always looking for things to score. I might score up a fable or two this summer. Thanks for the review! Hope all is well!

I am happy to write this, not as a review but as my feelings that this piece has tremendous 'power' in it which can be felt throughout and specially in the end. I can feel how you have to be emotional to make this symphony; what you have to be into to write these lines and what you have to go through to make you music 'vocal'. Thanks for the share!

NickPerrin responds:

And thank YOU for the review!

Beautiful artistic work. Respect!

O~o
Preparation for a battle! A short but complete piece.
On a side-note, this is just in contrast to your previous composition when you were "sane" lol. Man, definitely, you ARE an artist.

samulis responds:

Hehe... Yeah, sanity decreased as the day went on for sure. I wanted to do something with more energy for this entry, and bedlam ensued, lol.

Samulis! Man! What a "royal" feel. Definitely a soothing, angelic piece. I can imagine myself standing in magical world where a vast land around you with fairytale like environment. There is no need for any amendment/changes as thought process is never ending, so it fits perfectly well in its own premises. Those warm to high strings with choirs always give me goosebumps. Most important point is the glimpse of what you can do in a limited time. Well done!

samulis responds:

Hey, thanks man! I guess it does have a bit of a regal taste to it, very true. I really love using upper voices, they are really gorgeous texture-wise in clean fifths and thirds. That fantastic feel was definitely one of my aims. :)

I am in no way composer, musician, artist and whatever you may call it. I am a doctor by profession who just loves music of different genres like epic, rock, classic and any other that carries melody. Enjoy my imperfections :)
